Review
I was so excited to read this book! I've always enjoyed James Patterson's books in the past, and adding Bill Clinton into the mix sounded super intriguing! I don't know if it was my mood, the book, or a combination of both, but I could not get into this book at all. It was way more of a political thriller than I was anticipating—I was thinking it would be more just a typical suspense//thriller like most of James Patterson's others. I guess I wasn't expecting the book to dive into the aspects of war, government structure, and the dynamics of other countries to the extent in which it did. As someone who is not into politics in the least bit, I felt like a lot of the story was boring and over my head. I can completely see why a lot of people loved this book though! It contained some great content and twists. However, it fell very short for me, and I struggled to even finish it. So, take my opinion with a grain of salt and read it if you think it's a topic you may enjoy!
